Our editors are absolutely entranced by the work of Caroline Jensen. With her otherworldly landscapes, warm portraits and ethereal candids, this Minnesota artist captures the beauty far beyond the fields in the prairie.
Carefully touting the line between photography and painting, this digital artist creates fine art using her four children and pets as subjects. She is a natural light photographer specializing in emotive black and white portraiture, macro, and colorful landscape imagery. “I seek to find emotion in every image,” she explains. Her niche is clearly that of painterly images with dramatic light. “I enjoy focusing on one subject, whether that be a person or a flower, striving for a simplicity that guides the viewer’s eye to the heart of the image,” she adds. Her mastery of images has been featured in many publications and she shares her knowledge as an instructor.

Sourcing from the hundreds of beautiful images on her websites (CarolineJensen.com and MoodyKitchen.com), we’ve compiled our favorite images of family life, beautifully capturing her children in the midsts of life in the countryside. (Did we mention her Instagram is also a dream?)
