Fact of the Day: Hotter Than The Sun!

Did you know that a lightning bolt is 5 times hotter than the sun?

 

 

The surface of the Sun has a temperature of 10,340 degrees Fahrenheit or 6,000 Kelvin. Whereas a lightning bolt can reach a temperature of 53,540 degrees Fahrenheit or 30,000 Kelvin, which is 5 times hotter than the Sun!
