Did you know that your body is 75% water?
Your body is made up of organs, blood, bones and lots of different tissues, but among most of its parts there is one common element present: water. The percentage of water typically found in infants and young children is around 75%, while the average adult human body is 50-65% water. The amount of water found in your body will decrease as you get older and will vary depending on gender and fitness level, because fatty tissue contains less water than lean tissue. Remember to drink lots of water to keep the fluid in your system clean, and to always hydrate to give your body the replenishment that it needs.
